In 2008 the club name was changed from RAK water ski club to RAK International Marine Sports Club, and a new water sports where added like Kayaking, Diving, Rowing, Tubing, Beside water ski and wakeboard.
Ras Al Khaimah International Marine Sports Club is situated at a Bay “lagoon”,surrounded by the natural Mangrove trees and the water which comes from the sea. So it is usually calm with no big waves.
This makes it a good place for water sports like for example Water ski which was the only game in the club until other water Sports were introduced as Kayak, and as the club is surrounded by Mangrove trees so the Kayak trips will be amazing trip were you can spend some Time rowing through the Mangrove plants and passing by tower Links of golf club.
